Service at SMSA

Our faith calls us to serve others, and we engage our students in service from their first days at SMSA.  Whether they're singing Christmas carols at the nursing home or carrying food items across the street to the St. Mary's food pantry, they're learning the meaning of loving and serving their neighbor.

A Sampling of Student Service at SMSA:

• greenhouse and schoolyard maintenance;

• weekly food drive to restock the shelves of the parish food pantry;

• cleaning the gravestones of priests and nuns who served at St. Mary's;

• winter clothing donations; 

• classroom-assigned projects conducted throughout the school year
