It was a Catholic Schools Week celebration to remember today, as 15 students were baptized during 8:05 am Mass at St. Mary's Church! Father Scott baptized the students in front of a congregation made up of their classmates, teachers, family, and friends, during one of the school's regular monthly "themed" Masses, each of which is planned by a different class of the school. Today's Mass, themed "Mission," was planned by the fifth grade, with students from that grade serving as lectors, altar servers, and choir members. It was a celebration that brought joy to the entire community, and we thank God for giving us such a special way to kick off our celebration of Catholic Schools Week! Congratulations to our 15 new brothers and sisters in Christ!
