Sunday, January 29th

Mass and 140th Celebration
Sunday Mass- CSW Kickoff

Students will be encouraged to attend specifically the 11:15 AM Mass, but any student that attends Mass in uniform this weekend will be given a dress down pass. Parents should email homeroom teachers to let them know if their child went to Mass in uniform.


140th SMSA Birthday Celebration (Open to public)

Following Mass (12:30 - 2:30))

A celebratory Open House for alumni, prospective and current families, parishioners, and friends. Held on the school's actual 140th birthday, the event kicks off a Year of Celebration. Hope to see you there! No registration required.


Monday, January 30th

Decades Day

Students can come to school dressed in clothing that represents their favorite decade. 5th Grade will wear their dress uniforms to Mass, and then change when they return to school. All other students will remove any hats, wigs, sunglasses, etc. while attending Mass. Theme Mass: @ 8:10 AM For one period today, students will be allowed to play board games. Food pantry collection - canned vegetables or fruit


Tuesday, January 31st

PJ Day

Students may wear pajamas to school today, and will get to watch a movie and eat popcorn. (Jess T. will reach out to Joy Smith to see if she can make the popcorn.) Teachers will write a note for each student on a post-it and leave it on their desk for arrival. Food pantry collection - pasta


Wednesday, February 1st

Dress-Up Day

Students are encouraged to dress to the nines. At morning announcements MS honor roll awards will be given out. Immediately after 7th period, K - 8 will walk to St. Mary’s for Adoration. Middle school will enter first, with Kindergarten entering last. Each teacher will determine how long their class will stay. Noah’s Ark classes will each take some time to visit the chapel to pray. Food pantry collection - peanut butter & crackers NO HOMEWORK DAY!!!!


Thursday, February 2nd

Mix & Match Day

Students may wear crazy combos of clothes today (stripes mixed with plaids, or polka dots paired with paisley, for example). School-wide rosary in the Great Hall @ 8:10 AM Bingo to be held in the Great Hall 8th period. Middle schoolers will help their Kindergarten buddies. NA can certainly join at this time or do their own bingo games at another time 5th Grade language ambassadors could help the NA students if they come 8th period. (Middle schoolers will help pick up afterwards.) Food pantry collection - soup


Open House for Prospective Families (K-8)

Do you know any families interested in exploring SMSA? SMSA families who refer newly registered students will receive a $500 tuition credit.


Noah's Ark (3 and 4) are invited to attend! Extended childcare avialable upon request.


Friday, February 3rd

Rock Star Day

Students may come to school dressed as their favorite rock star!

Volleyball to be held in the gym 8th period. A moment of silence to be held in memory of Coach B. prior to the game. All students will be asked to bring 1 Kerry buck to enter the game. They will be collected and a raffle of SMSA swag will be held at the conclusion of the game. I swag bag for NA3s, NA4s, K - 2, 3 & 4, and 5 - 8. Food pantry collection - dessert mixes
