Begun several years ago when a generous SMSA father offered to help pay the tuition of his child’s classmate, the Guardian Angel Fund has blossomed into a source of financial assistance for many SMSA families. Alumni and supporters have allowed SMSA to offer more than $50,000 in tuition assistance to more than 50 families in the past 5 years. For many of these families, a Catholic education would otherwise be an impossibility.
