Dear Alumni,

 

One of the most wonderful parts of my job -- and there are many -- is getting to meet you, our alumni.  When I have the opportunity to address your reunion groups or offer you tours of the building, I never tire of hearing your stories.  Hi-jinks in the hallways, proms in the gymnasium, secret trips to the bell tower, graduations in the Great Hall. I hear you speak of friends and classmates and teachers and I’m reminded of the tremendous impact one individual can have on the life of a child. I see the laughter in your eyes -- and occasionally, the tears -- as you tell your stories, and I am reminded, once again, of the tremendous impact that a school -- this school -- can have on the lives of its students, even long after they’ve ceased to be children.

 

I am delighted always to share with you how SMSA continues to shape the lives of its students.  With you in mind, we nurture traditions and honor the past, while providing an education that will prepare today’s children for the modern world and its many opportunities and challenges. 

 

Please, browse through the pages of this site. I hope you’ll recognize a school in which each child is cherished, faith is celebrated and accomplishment expected.  I hope you’ll recognize your school.
